Took two post-mortems to find missing grandma Tatilda

Durham Police yesterday said the results of a second post-mortem examination conducted on human remains located in Mariposa Township has confirmed the identity of the 85-year-old victim from Whitby.

“Post Mortem results confirmed the identity of the remains to be Tatilda Noble, 85 of Scepter Place in Whitby. Post-mortem results indicated obvious signs of trauma to the victim,” said a police statement.

Tatilda and her daughter Ava Burton went missing under suspicious circumstances. Ava’s body was found and identified late last month. Tatilda’s grandson and Ava’s son, has been in police custody (see earlier stories below).
