Regional Road 50 closed for bridge rehab

The Regional Municipality of Durham, in partnership with the County of Simcoe, is advising residents that Regional Road 50 will be closed over the Trent Severn Canal in the townships of Brock and Ramara from March 15 until the end of October.

When: Starting March 15 until the end of October.

Where: Regional Road 50, between Concession Road 11 and Canal Road, in the townships of Brock and Ramara.

Why: The closure is necessary to safely remove and rehabilitate the existing Regional Road 50 bridge structure over the Trent Severn Canal. All traffic will be detoured to Highway 12.

Note: The region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. For more information and updates on the construction activity, please visit durham.ca/RegionalRoad50.
