Repeat sexual offender now on police radar, help catch him

After  two separate incidents of sexual assault by the same man at The Shops at Pickering City Centre; police are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

They are searching for a man who harassed staff and customers by committing an indecent act and sexual assault on two separate occasions at a clothing store in The Shops at Pickering City Centre, police said.

On March 26, the suspect entered a clothing store located inside of The Shops. While using a changeroom in the store, the man exposed his genitals to customers and staff. The man was escorted off the property by mall security.

No employees or customers suffered any physical injuries.

On April 2, the suspect returned to the clothing store and sexually assaulted a female employee. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.

The victim did not suffer any physical injuries, police said.

The suspect is described as: male, Brown, approximately 5’5” to 5’8” tall, with a thin build, and black facial hair.
