RV Owner Alert: Durham to close Corbett Creek dump site

Durham Region is advising recreational vehicle (RV) owners and registered septage haulers of the temporary closure of the waste disposal station at the Corbett Creek Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) in Whitby.

The closure, effective July 1, will remain in place until further notice to accommodate on-site equipment upgrade activities at the facility, located at 2400 Forbes Street, Whitby.

During the closure, RV users are encouraged to use alternative holding tank dump stations at the following locations:

  • Duffin Creek WPCP (901 McKay Road, Pickering): Open seven days a week, 24 hours a day
  • Courtice WPCP (100 Osborne Road, Courtice): Open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3 pm (excluding statutory holidays)
  • Port Darlington WPCP (93 Port Darlington Road, Bowmanville): Open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3 pm (excluding statutory holidays)
  • Uxbridge Brook WPCP (127 Main Street North, Uxbridge): Open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3 pm (excluding statutory holidays)

Registered septage haulers may use:

  • Courtice WPCP (100 Osborne Road, Courtice): Open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3 pm (excluding statutory holidays)
