Second pole down of 2021 – also at Oshawa

We have written often about the mysterious pull of Durham pole on drivers.

Since we started tracking this unexplained phenomenon, there have been 16 hits so far – of which – 15 were in 2020.

The first hit, so to say, of this year was on January 10. The collision resulted the death of the driver.

Well, Oshawa Power this week reported another pole down.

On January 19, Oshawa Power crews had to replace a broken pole caused by another vehicle accident.

But thankfully, this time there were no fatalities, injuries or even service interruptions reported.

“Snowy weather means hazardous conditions for our community and crews. We would like to remind everyone to practice safe driving habits this winter!” reminded Oshawa Power.
