Shots fired at two separate homes, stabbing

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday reported shots being fired in separate incidents in Oshawa.

DRPS reported several shots were fired at a residence on Fundy Court on Friday night at 1 am. No injuries had been reported.

A second home on Valley Drive was also hit by stray bullets, police said adding that two suspects were seen running to a nearby pickup truck and fled. Forensic Investigators were on the scene collecting evidence.

Highway 401 crash

Earlier in the day, there was a collision on Highway 401 near Thickson Road in Whitby. The area was heavily congested for a while.

Man stabbed

A 33-year-old male was stabbed in Oshawa on Wednesday. On October 13, at about 10 pm, members from Central East Division were called to the area of Colborne Street East and Simcoe Street South for reports of a stabbing. Officers arrived and located a victim suffering from non-life threatening injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

The suspect is described as: male, Black, in his 20’s, wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black shoes.
