The Municipality of Clarington is planning to reconstruct the Bowmanville Creek Valley North Parking Lot in Bowmanville from May 18 to June 2, 2021.
The existing parking lot has reached the end of its service life, said a municipal statement.
It said construction will avoid impact to parking as much as possible, but temporary full closures will be necessary.
The proposed works include removal of the existing surface, the addition of a granular base, and resurfacing with hot mix asphalt.
It will also include drainage improvements, including a Low Impact Development (LID) Enhanced Swale.
