Suspended driver caught doing 105 in a 60 kmh zone

Durham Regional Police Services (DRPS) yesterday said officers from the DRPS North Division stopped a suspended driver doing 105km/hr in a 60km/hr zone in Uxbridge.

The vehicle was impounded and the driver is facing numerous charges. “Please slow down! It could save a life.” said the police.

On December 2 at around 3:20 pm an officer clocked a pick-up truck speeding in the area of Uxbridge Concession Road 6 and Old Stouffville Road. The officer initiated a traffic stop.

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle impounded for 14 days.
