Tactical unit called in to arrest two in Durham drugs raid

A male and female were arrested following a drug trafficking investigation in Clarington.

On Thursday, March 21, members of the East Division Community Response Team, with the assistance of East Division front line officers and the Tactical Support Unit, concluded a drug investigation and executed a search warrant at a residence in Clarington.

A male and female were located inside the residence and taken into custody without incident, police said.

A  male, age 58 from Clarington, and a female, age 59, both from Clarington weres charged. Names and further details available at www.drps.ca.
