Tactical Unit helps execute search warrant, three face 34 charges

Durham Police said three suspects have been charged with drug and firearm offenses after members of the Central East Community Response Team (CRT) executed a search warrant in Oshawa.

On Thursday, March 23, members of the CRT concluded an investigation into drug trafficking in Oshawa. With the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Elmgrove Avenue, said a police statement.

The investigation resulted in three people being charged, as well as the seizure of two firearms, a quantity of fentanyl and a quantity of methamphetamine, it said.

All three suspects from Oshawa were charged and held for a bail hearing.
