Pizza delivery driver robbed by four in Pickering

Durham Police investigators are looking for four suspects after a 33-year-old male was assaulted in a street-level robbery in Pickering.

On Friday March 24 at about 11:55 pm, members of West Division responded to the area of Brock Road and Dersan Street for a robbery.

The victim, a pizza delivery person, was struck in the head with an unknown weapon. The suspects then took his vehicle and money, however the vehicle was recovered a short time later, said a police statement.

The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, it added.

The suspects are described as:

  • Male, Brown, black curly hair, wearing a baseball hat, dark multi-coloured jacket, and ripped jeans.
  • Male, Brown, 22-23 years old, clean shaven wearing a black toque, a colourful jacket and grey pants.
  • Male, White, 20-25 years wearing a red and cream coloured jacket with a hood.
  • Female, Brown, 18-22 years old, 5’6” tall, wearing a black crop top, black pants, black jacket with a hood and a silver belly button ring.

The suspects were seen in the area in a white SUV.

Investigators are asking for anyone with information or video footage, including dashcam and home surveillance, to please contact police.
