Three search warrants lead to drug arrest

One male suspect is facing drug charges following the execution of three search warrants on Wednesday, said Durham Police.

On May 18, members from the Central West Community Response Team concluded a drug trafficking investigation that commenced in early 2022.

Officers arrested the suspect in Pickering. Following his arrest, they executed three search warrants.  Police seized a quantity of methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl with an approximate street value of $110,000.  Approximately $1,000 of Canadian currency was also seized, said a police statement.

The suspect from Whitby was held for a bail hearing.
