Traffic snags along Oshawa road to last until August-end

Durham Region is advising residents of lane restrictions on Adelaide Avenue East (Regional Road 58) in the City of Oshawa.

The restrictions are ongoing and are projected to last until August 31. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule, the region said.

It said the affected area of Adelaide Avenue East is from Blackthorn Street to Townline Road North (Regional Road 55) in Oshawa.

Lane restrictions are needed to safely rehabilitate and resurface the road, the region said.

It said it realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
