A traffic stop in Port Perry led to an arrest and seizure of a number of items, including drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a shotgun.
On Friday March 21, while on proactive patrol, members of the North Division Community Response Team located a suspicious vehicle in the area of Island Road and The Mississaugas Trail.
When officers approached the car, they observed drugs and drug paraphernalia inside. The driver was taken into custody without incident.
A 36-year-old male from Markham was charged and held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
