The Regional Municipality of Durham yesterday advised residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Salem Road (Regional Road 41) in the Town of Ajax.
When: October 24 to December 24. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Salem Road at the 401 interchange, from Mandrake Street to Achilles Road, in the Town of Ajax.
Why: Lane restrictions will be in place to allow for the construction of new electrical and telecommunications infrastructure.
The region said it realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Drivers were asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
