Region invites residents to poll results on October 24

On October 24, the Regional Chair/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be elected by eligible voters in the Regional Municipality of Durham.

Residents are being invited at the Regional Municipality of Durham Headquarters on election night to view the unofficial results related to the Office of the Regional Chair/CEO. The same information will be provided on the Region’s website at durham.ca/Elections.

When: On October 24, the Lower-Level Boardroom (LL-C) is scheduled to open to the public, at 8 pm.

Where: LL-C, the Regional Municipality of Durham Headquarters, 605 Rossland Road East, Whitby.

Why: For the third time in its history, the region will have a Regional Chair/CEO directly elected by the voters of Durham Region.

Residents can also access municipal elections information through the myDurham 311 Smart Home Device Voice Service, available through the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa Marketplace.
