Eight teenage drivers issued positive tickets

Eight teen drivers have been awarded the ‘Positive Ticket”, according to Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) Central East Division.

The initiative aims to promote traffic safety among young drivers. It specially focuses on avoiding use of cellphone and/or being intoxicated during driving.

Traffic Safety Team would like to congratulate another eight teenage drivers who were issued positive tickets yesterday with a chance to win one of three $500 gift cards,” said a tweet from DRPS Central East Division.
