Upcoming road works to impact travel in Oshawa, Clarington

The Regional Municipality of Durham is notifying residents about upcoming road works that will affect travel in Oshawa and Clarington.

In Oshawa, Grandview Street North will be closed for one day on Friday, July 18, between Columbus Road East and Winchester Road (Concession Road 7). The closure is necessary to safely complete paving work. The schedule may change depending on weather conditions.

In Clarington, lane restrictions will be in place on Taunton Road (Regional Road 4) from the week of July 28 through to December. The affected area stretches from east of Townline Road to west of Enfield Road (Regional Road 34). This work is part of a road reconstruction project. Weather may impact the construction timeline.
