Victim reports stabbing to officer in parking lot

Durham Police said a male was sent to hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed in Oshawa on Monday.

On June 20 at around 2:30 am, a member of Central East Division was approached in the police parking lot by a male party who advised that he had been stabbed.

The 34-year-old Oshawa male suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed in an apartment on Colborne Street. The victim was taken to a trauma centre in Toronto, said a police statement.

There are no suspect descriptors at his time. Investigators continue to look for a suspect in this incident and the investigation is ongoing.
