Visit DRPS Children’s Games drive-thru event today

The DRPS Children’s Games is celebrating its 38th annual event on Saturday, October 29.

The games are designed to provide a fun and supportive sporting opportunity for children aged five to 18 with a variety of physical limitations. To protect the health and safety of our athletes and volunteers, the 2022 Children’s Games will once again be a drive-thru event, said a sattement.

Athletes and their families will attend the drive thru event by appointment time slot. DRPS will have officers, auxiliary officers and committee members on hand cheering on the athletes and letting them know we will hopefully see them next year in person. Athletes will drop off their pop tabs, pose for a photo and then pick up their Game Day in a Box, which includes a t-shirt, medal, lunch voucher, games package and all kinds of swag and goodies the athletes can enjoy at home.

  • Where: Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex, 1867 Valley Farm Rd, Pickering
  • When: Saturday, October 29
  • Time: 12 pm – 5 pm
