Voyeur put phone under women’s washroom sink

Durham Police investigators have charged a 23-year-old male for voyeurism after an incident in Ajax Thursday afternoon.  

On March 10 at about noon, members of West Division responded to a call at Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering Hospital after a female staff member located a cellphone in the washroom that was recording. The phone had been propped up under the sink. Investigation revealed that the cellphone belonged to the suspect who was working at this site, said a police report.

The suspect from Ajax was charged with voyeurism. He was released on an undertaking. Names and more details at www.drps.ca.

His cellphone was seized as evidence. No other recording devices were located or seized at this time.
