Driver arrested at gas pump with drugs in plain view

Officers from DRPS North Division found drugs, machete and knives when they were called to a gas station for a possible impaired driver.

A 37-year-old male from Uxbridge was arrested and charged.

Please don’t drive impaired, said a DRPS statement.

It said on March 7, officers responded to a possible impaired driver call at a gas station on 7/12 Highway in Scugog.

Officers found the driver in his parked vehicle with drugs in plain view. Officers also found drugs paraphernalia, a large machete, baton and two knives in the vehicle.
