Warning after vehicle tracks seen heading out into lake

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday issued a warning about thin ice after officers noticed vehicle tracks heading out into Lake Scugog.

Members of DRPS North Division saw vehicle tracks heading out into Lake Scugog, ice conditions are not safe at this time due to the mild weather, said a police tweet.

It asked enthusiasts to: “Please stay OFF the ice and check with local ice conditions in your area.”
