Young lady driver 30-over twice in two weeks

DRPS Traffic Services keeps coming across people who just do not learn.

This time, responding to community complaints in Whitby, they netted a young lady driver who was caught speeding twice in two weeks.

Another community complaint brought our enforcement team back to Thickson Road and Carnwith Drive in the Town of Whitby, said a tweet from Traffic Services.

One young lady was stopped for 31kmh over… she was stopped last week by the same officer for 30-over as well… charged accordingly, the tweet added.

On Monday, DRPS Traffic Services had asked Durham residents to let them know which community safety zones they felt residents had issues with.

“We can try to attend in the coming weeks,” it promised – and did.
