There will be GO Transit service changes that are planned to come into effect with the goal to enhance connectivity across the region, Metrolinx announced.
Lakeshore East: Starting on Monday, April 27, some trips will depart up to two minutes earlier or later, depending on the station you are departing from to better reflect actual travel times.
Starting on Saturday, May 2, the 15-minute midday and evening weekend service returns, running between Durham College Oshawa GO and Union Station.
This upcoming Sunday will see seasonal GO bus services return serving attractions across the region:
- Route 25K service connects Toronto Premium Outlets directly to the TTC subway at Kipling station. Service runs on weekends, April 25 to August 30.
- Routes 47W and 52X will serve Canada’s Wonderland on weekends starting April 25 to August 30.
- Route 96Z will serve the Toronto Zoo on weekends only starting April 25 to August 30.
Also starting Saturday, April 25, more GO bus trips and more stops have been added to support growing ridership during busiest trip times.
More trips have been added on the following routes: 15, 19, 21, 22, 27, 30, 33, 40, and 94.
Additional bus stops have also been added on the following routes: 17, 22, 25, 27, and 30.
Service will be reduced during times when trips are typically not as busy on the following bus routes across the GO network: 16, 18, 21, 31, 32, 33, 36, 41, 70, and 96.
If your trip if affected, you may need to wait for the next available trip. Please ensure you check schedules ahead of time.
Lakeshore West

Also starting on Saturday, May 2, bike coaches are being added to trains that serve Niagara Falls for the spring and summer season.
