Durham Police said a 19-year-old male has life-threatening injuries after a single motor vehicle collision in Uxbridge.
On Wednesday, November 20, at about 6:10 pm, members of North Division responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the area of Zephyr Road West and Uxbridge Concession Road 6. The 19-year-old male driver was driving his grey GMC Sierra pickup truck westbound on Zephyr Road West, when he lost control and rolled the vehicle.
The male was ejected from the vehicle. A motorist came across the accident and called 911. The male was transported to a Toronto area trauma-centre with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
