40-year old driver dies after car crashes into two trees

Durham police said a 40-year-old male suffered fatal injuries after a single motor vehicle collision in Oshawa.

A 40-year-old male was driving a Toyota sedan westbound on Adelaide Avenue East when the vehicle left the road way and struck a mature tree causing significant damages. The vehicle continued forward and struck another mature tree before coming to a final stop.

The driver of the Toyota was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The incident took place on Friday, April 17 at about 10:25 pm. Members of East Division had responded to a collision in the area of Adelaide Avenue East, east of Blackthorn Street in Oshawa.

Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The cause of this collision remains under investigation.
