52 suspended drivers taken off Oshawa roads in February

The Central East Division of Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS), which has responsibility over Oshawa area, announced it will run its next Roadway Safety Inspection campaign from March 19-28.

The DRPS Central East Division Roadway Safety Team yesterday said it contributed to the divisions final traffic related tickets for month.

It alone issued 657 of the 1,640 tickets.

Division officers managed to take 52 suspended drivers off the road in February, it said.
