Know what that huge structure you see from 401 is?

Ever wondered what that huge structure you see from Highway 401 in the Town of Ajax is?

The town revealed it is the facility for Lakeridge Logistics Centre that is being built.

On Thursday, Ajax Council toured the facility, it said.

“Lakeridge Logistics Centre’s (LLC) innovative approach to construction and operational practices marks a significant step towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future,” said the town.

It said the property has some 50,000 to 1,200,000 square feet of available space.

It will offer prime logistics space with state-of-the-art construction, flexible design as well as zero carbon designs, which are the first of their kind in Ajax.

An Ajax resident, however, asked the town why is there no signage for residents to know what’s being built in their community?
