Durham police say a 69-year old woman has been rushed to a Toronto-area trauma centre with life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Newtonville.
On Sunday, August 24, at around 11:30 am, officers from DRPS responded to reports of a collision on Concession Road 5, west of Newtonville Road.
Investigators say the woman was driving a Suzuki SFV motorcycle eastbound on Concession Road 5 when it collided with a westbound Cadillac. The driver of the Cadillac was not physically injured and remained at the scene, according to police.
Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended and are continuing to look into the circumstances of the crash.
