A 76-year old woman was assaulted for her jewelry in broad daylight, while gardening, according to DRPS.
Police are looking for two suspects after an elderly female was robbed in Ajax.
On Sunday, May 17, at around 4:30 pm. members of West Division responded to a robbery call outside of a residence in the area of Old Harwood Avenue and Bray Drive.
A 76-year-old female was outside of her home gardening when a vehicle being driven by a male suspect stopped in front of her residence. A female suspect exited the vehicle and assaulted the victim, stealing several gold bracelets and a necklace she was wearing, before throwing fake jewellery at the victim and fleeing the area.
The victim suffered minor injuries, police said.
