Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday announced the winner of the Chief for a Day competition which had earlier been narrowed down to just 10 finalists.
Yesterday morning Chief Rollauer was joined by DRPS members and representatives from KPR Schools to surprise the winner of Chief For a Day Contest – Connor from Charles Bowman Public School.
A huge congratulations to this year’s Chief For a Day Winner Connor from Charles Bowman PS! Special thanks to DRPS_K9 D/Cst. King and his PSD Rogue for stopping by to surprise Connor, who hopes to one day be a K9 officer, said a DRPS tweet.
The first-ever Kawartha Pine Ridge (KPR) District School Board student to win Durham Police’s Chief for a Day contest is a big deal! Many dignitaries were on hand to celebrate Connor Frigan’s win yesterday morning at Charles Bowman Public School. “WTG, Connor!” said a KPR tweet.
Connor Frigan’s winning essay earned him the title of Chief for a Day.
