Competitive Contracts
This year, Uxbridge said it has introduced a new approach to budgeting, emphasizing early discussions and approvals. This shift enables bids and tenders to be issued ahead of the market, leading to more competitive contracts and ensuring the timely execution of capital projects.
It said the township remains dedicated to safeguarding its fiscal stability while maintaining sustainable service levels for residents. The 2025 budget emphasizes enhancing the state of good repair for critical infrastructure, including roads, bridges, culverts, and municipal buildings.
This budget reflects fostering an entrepreneurial approach to boost non-tax revenue streams, ensuring long-term financial resilience and reduced reliance on property taxes, it added.
