Clarington officials announced that the Bowmanville Valley Trail Extension will close at the railway overpass beginning Wednesday, March 26, for the safety of trail users. The closure is part of CN Rail’s routine maintenance to the bridge.
Officials expect the closure to last for five days, although this timeline may be extended if weather conditions prove unfavorable.
The maintenance work is being carried out to ensure that the bridge remains safe and secure for all users once it reopens.
