Air1 tracks Oshawa Hydro Yard break-in suspects till arrest

Durham Police yesterday said two males are facing charges after breaking into a Hydro yard in Oshawa and attempted to steal materials.

On Saturday, June 1 at about 2:40 am, members of East Division, with the assistance of Air1, responded to a break-and-enter call at the Hydro One Transmission Station located at 2745 Townline Road North.

Two males were seen on security surveillance entering the facility with break-in tools. Air1 tracked the suspects until officers arrived on scene. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident, said a police report.

One suspect, age 34 from Clarington, and another, age 42 from Oshawa, were charged. Both were released on an undertaking. Names and further details available at www.drps.ca.
