All safe after Goodwood home targeted in drive-by shooting

Durham Police are searching for suspects after a residence was shot at in Goodwood in the Township of Uxbridge.

On Friday, November 15, at about 4:50 am, members of North Division responded to a shooting in the area of Deer Ridge Road and Goodwood Road. The suspects were inside a vehicle and opened fire on a residence before fleeing the area.

Officers arrived on scene and located a number of shell casings. The front of the residence and garage were struck by several bullets, police said.

No occupants of the residence sustained any physical injuries.

At this time, investigators believe this to be an isolated incident and that there is no risk to public safety.
