The final phase of the roof replacement at the Municipal Administrative Centre at 40 Temperance Street in Bowmanville was scheduled to begin on May 25.
Construction crews will be on-site Monday to Saturday throughout the summer, working on the west section of the roof. During this time, Clarington officials warns residents and visitors that they may experience noise, dust, and intermittent disruptions. The town said efforts were made to minimize the impact on the surrounding area.
This project is stated to be essential for preserving the building’s longevity and improving energy efficiency by addressing previous leaks and replacing the skylights.
