Convenience store robbed at gunpoint

Durham Police investigators are looking for a suspect after a convenience store was robbed at gunpoint in Blackstock.

On July 27 at about 10:05 pm, members of North Division were dispatched to Penny’s Mini Mart on Old Scugog Road for an armed robbery. The lone suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and made a demand for cash. The suspect fled from the store to a silver/grey sedan, said a police statement.

The victim didn’t sustain any physical injuries.

The suspect is described as male White, wearing a camouflaged jacket, blue jeans and a blue mask.
