Bowmanville RIDE
On Saturday July 27, DRPS Traffic Services conducted its summer weekend RIDE in Bowmanville in Clarington (image below).
The team was making sure everyone was driving sober.
“Most people were happy to see us out, except one driver who received a 3-day suspension for blowing an alert on the road side. Please don’t drive impaired,” police said.

MADD Durham Region volunteers were out Saturday night in the City of Pickering with DRPS Road Safety and the RIDE team (image below).
“Thanking those on the roads for driving sober,” said the agency.
