DRT OnDemand driver arrested for impaired driving

A driver of a Durham Regional Transit (DRT) OnDemand vehicle has been arrested for impaired driving in Oshawa.

On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at approximately 9:30 pm, members of Central West Division responded to a call for service in the area of Conlin Road and Manor Drive after a witness observed an OnDemand bus being driven in a reckless manner. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and placed the driver under arrest for impaired driving.

The driver, age 32, of Toronto is charged and released on an undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
