Drugs, ammunition and firearm seized in Oshawa

An investigation by Durham Police has resulted in drugs, ammunition and a firearm being seized in Oshawa on Wednesday night.

On August 10, members of Central East Division Community Resource Team concluded a local drug investigation near Dean Avenue in Oshawa. Police arrested the suspect who was in possession of a loaded handgun, ammunition and fentanyl (approximate street value of $80,000).

The suspect from Ajax, faces numerous charges. He was held for a bail hearing. A photo of the gun seized is attached. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
