Illegal weed dispensary that just refuses to shut down

Durham Police had to execute a second Search Warrant at an illegal cannabis dispensary in Oshawa.

On August 3, members of the Central East Division Community Response Team with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Unit executed a second search warrant at ‘Oshaweed’ an unlicensed cannabis dispensary on King Street West. Officers seized cannabis, cash and other cannabis products worth a combined value of approximately $25,000, said a police statement.

The dispensary was raided on July 26 and items worth $66,000 were seized (see related story below).

A 40-year-old male employee, of Oshawa is charged with Possess Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling. He was released on an Undertaking.
