Durham Health yesterday added 239 new Covid-19 cases from April 24 to April 26, taking the region’s tally to 59,929 since the count began on February 29, 2020.
The total case count had stood at 50,241 in January, 53,117 in February and 56,061 in March.
Durham Health also added one more covid death bring the overall death toll to 473.
March toll in the region stood at seven. Twenty-three people died from covid in February, and 31 in January.
