Woman tries to open bank account with fraud ID

A 26-year-old female has been charged with attempting to defraud a bank, said a Durham Police statement.

On April 25, the suspect entered a bank on Douglas Road in Uxbridge and attempted to open an account using fraudulent identification. North Division members were called and she was arrested, police said.

The suspects from Scarborough has been charged with Fraud Under $5000.00, Utter Forged Document, Possess Identity Document of Another x2, Possess Identity Information with Inference of Fraud and Unlawfully Deal with Device Used for Forgery.
