Erractic driver of stolen vehicle flees… but not far

On Saturday, July 3, at 3:55 am, at Bloor Street West and Park Road South in Oshawa, DRPS officers located a stolen Honda Civic and then attempted to stop the vechicle. The suspect failed to stop and fled in an erratic manner away from the police.

The vehicle was located later that morning and was stopped safely. The driver was then arrested.

The 22 year old male driver of no fixed address was charged with dangerous operation; fail to stop for police; fail to comply with release order; theft of a motor vehicle and possess property obtained by crime over $5,000.
