Expired licence driver caught going 95 in a 50 zone

Durham Regional Police Service announced officers caught a speeding driver – with an expired licence and temporary validation permit.

It said last week officers from the Central East Division caught the driver doing 45kmh over the posted speed limit.

DRPS Central East Division Traffic Safety Team stopped a driver going 95 in a 50 zone with an expired Temporary Validation Permit and an expired drivers licence, said a police tweet.

“Please check the expiry dates on your licence and temporary trip permits,” it added.
