Durham police are searching for four suspects after an armed home invasion early Sunday morning in Ajax.
On April 27, at about 2:25 am, officers from West Division responded to reports of an armed home invasion in the area of Wilce Drive and Sayor Drive. According to police, four male suspects, dressed in dark clothing, broke into a residence. The homeowner confronted the suspects and was assaulted. A second resident attempted to intervene and was struck with a firearm. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
One victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police believe this was an isolated incident.
