Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) said a branch of Freedom Mobile in Clarington was robbed yesterday.
The robbery took place at the branch located on Highway 2 and Green Rd in Bowmanville.
A police tweet said a disguised male entered Freedom Mobile and produced a firearm from a bag. He stole merchandise and fled on foot.
Officers and robbery unit were on the scene investigating. No injuries were reported.
The DRPS said it will release more information later.
