Durham Police are investigating four separate commercial robberies that occurred last week in Oshawa, Ajax and Pickering.
The first robbery occurred on Friday, December 9 at about 6 pm, when members from Central East Division responded to a robbery at Devons Pharmacy on Wilson Road South. Three suspects entered the store, stole narcotics and fled to a waiting vehicle, said a police statement.
On Saturday, December 10 at around 1 pm, members of West Division responded to a robbery at the Harwood Medical Centre on Harwood Avenue South. Three suspects entered the store and stole narcotics before fleeing in a vehicle.
Minutes later, members of West Division responded to a robbery at the Guardian Pharmacy on Bayly Street at approximately 1:06 pm. The three suspects assaulted one of the store employees before stealing products and fleeing from the store.
Shortly after, at approximately 1:20 pm, members of Central East Division responded to a pharmacy robbery at the Eastview IDA Pharmacy on King Street East. Three suspects entered the store, assaulted one of the employees and stole narcotics before fleeing.
No one was physically injured during these robberies.
The three suspects are all described as: male, Black, wearing dark clothing.
Investigators believe that these four robberies may be connected.
