Missing 27-year old from Oshawa found dead

Durham Police said on February 4, that a missing 27-year-old male who left his Oshawa residence prior Friday night, has been found dead.

Investigators have concluded the sudden death investigation after post mortem results show his death not suspicious or criminal in nature, said a police alert.

The 27-year old Oshawa male was reported missing and no foul play was involved, it added.

Earlier, police said officers from DRPS Central East Division were in the area of Adelaide Avenue West and Gibbons Street in Oshawa for a suspicious death investigation. An autopsy was scheduled.

The missing male file imagewas last seen at his residence near Elgin Court in Oshawa. It was believed that he was on foot, his family and friends had concerns for his wellbeing as it was uncommon for him to be missing for this length of time, said police.
